How to change singular nouns into plural form by adding s, es, ves and ies.

This is basic learning in grammar. Here I have explained how to change singular noun into its plural forms by knowing some rules.
Rule 1.  By adding s to its plural form.
Simply by adding s we can change many singular nouns to its plural form.
Eg. Pen - pens, fan - fans, book - books.
Rule 2. ch,sh,x,o - es
If the word is ending with ch, sh, x, o then by adding es we can make it plural form
Eg. Bench - benches, brush - brushes, fox - foxes, tomato - tomatoes.
Rule 3. f,fe - ves
If the word is ending with f, fe then insted of writing f, fe we have to use ves.
Eg. Knife - knives, wife - wives, leaf - leaves.
Rule 4. y - ies
If the word is ending with y then instead of writing y we should use ies.
Eg. City - cities, factory - factories, baby - babies, lady - ladies.
There are some more rules and exceptions but as this video is for basic (primary) level so here I have mentioned only four rules as we move on to advance level I will let you know some more rules and its expectations. If you truly want to know more then do comment below to let me know and then I will make a video in that too.
